乱す、困らせる

trouble, bother: いずれも人を困らせることをいう

trouble: 悩み事などが人の気をもませること

bother: troubleほどではないが, 多少迷惑になることをさす

disturb, interrupt: いずれも人の活動中に邪魔をすることをいう

disturb: 平穏を乱す場合

interrupt: 会話などを中断する場合に好まれる

〘話〙 ではいずれも相手への迷惑を謝ったり, 何かを依頼する際に用いられるが, botherが最も一般的

1. stop the continuous progress of (an activity or process): (活動や家庭の)継続的な進行を止める

〈人･物･事が〉〈事〉を中断させる, 分断する, 妨げる

e.g. the buzzer interrupted his thoughts.: そのブザーは彼の思考を妨げた。

stop (someone speaking) by saying or doing something: 何かを言う、することで(誰かが喋るのを)止める

〈人が〉 «…で» 〈人(の話など)〉をさえぎる, じゃまする «with»

e.g. “Of course …” Shepherd began, but his son interrupted him: 「もちろん…」とシェファードは始めたが、彼の息子が彼を遮った。

obstruct (something, especially a view).: (何か、特に眺め)を遮る
