内密であること, 守秘; (秘密を守ってくれるという)信頼

e.g. the lead bank's duty of confidentiality to the borrower: そのトップの銀行の負債者に対する守秘義務

e.g. as modifier : visitors have to sign confidentiality agreements.: 訪問者は守秘契約にサインしなければならない
